The Italian chophouse is a dark, clubby getaway that you enter from the side street (not from the hotel lobby). The hotel is home to the Nashville outpost of New York's Carne Mare, by James Beard Award-winner Andrew Carmellini. While you certainly can't go wrong hunting down some of Nashville's famous hot chicken (there is a Hattie B's at the top of the main tourist strip for example), you can also enjoy something much more classy without having to leave the building at all. The guest rooms are very stylish as you would expect from an area full of creatives. We stayed in a corner suite which made the best use of the floor-to-ceiling windows, letting in an impressive amount of natural light while also enjoying the growing Nashville skyline.
